When not distracted by life’s minor issues such as work and sleep I enjoy bicycling. Generally I can be seen riding the back roads of Franklin County. However I prefer the natural settings and safety that rail trails offer. In addition I enjoy meeting a wide diversity of enthusiasts that use rail trails. Rail-trails with minimal grades help to encourage the very young, the elderly, the physically challenged, and the novice exerciser to participate in an assortment of activities that promote physical and mental wellness. Ardent outdoor enthusiasts seek trails for their miles of comfortable trails that are ideal for long-distance running, bicycling, and horseback riding.
I look forward to promoting new trail development in North Carolina and inspiring others to enjoy the many rewards of rail trails.
